Akhnaton

Akhnaton

AKHNATON by Agatha Christie. One of the word's greatest writers takes us to Ancient Egypt in this exciting, thoughtful and suspenseful drama. After years of research, Dame Christie created this tale of deceit, love, and revolution. The story follows the Pharaoh Akhaton, his wife Nefertiti, his son-in-law Tutankhamen, and a myriad of other fascinating characters, as they try to lead Egypt and the world through a turbulent time of change and confusion. This play was written in 1937 but never performed or published during Agatha Christie's lifetime even though it was one of her favorite and best works, because of the extravagance and epic nature of the story and characters. And here it is at Hillcrest in 2019 making its Utah Premiere
